Ginevra Carrozzo

Née en 1997, Ginevra Carrozzo est une photographe italienne qui habite à Paris. Avant de commencer des études de photographie à EFET, elle se spécialise en histoire de l’art à la Sorbonne d’Abou Dhabi puis, par la suite à Paris. 
Ses projets photographiques se nourrissent principalement de son histoire et de ses expériences. Ses sujets relevant de son intimité, de la nostalgie de son pays d’origine en combinant l’autoportrait, les documents d’archives et la vidéo. Elle s’intéresse également à des thèmes sociaux et sur l’identité tout en ayant une écriture photographique documentaire.

Born in 1997, Ginevra Carrozzo is an Italian photographer living in Paris. Before pursuing her studies at EFET photography school, she specialized in art history at the Sorbonne in Abu Dhabi and later in Paris. 
Her projects are mainly based on her history and  personal experiences. Her subjects are related to her intimacy and nostalgia for home country by combining self-portrait, archival documents and video. She is also interested in social themes and the human identity all being translated with documentary photographic writing.
